Seela Campaign 2025 – Vesak Festival Celebration at Kingswood British College, Anamaduwa Branch

On 9th May 2025, Kingswood British College – Anamaduwa Branch proudly organized a Seela Campaign in honor of the Vesak Festival 2025, commemorating the Birth, Enlightenment, and Passing Away of Lord Buddha.

This special program provided students with the opportunity to engage in spiritual activities, practice Buddhist teachings, and deepen their understanding of compassion, kindness, and moral values. The event began with the observance of Sil (Seela), where students, teachers, and parents participated in Dhamma sermons, meditation sessions, and Buddhist rituals.

The school premises were beautifully decorated with Vesak lanterns and Buddhist-themed displays, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The Seela Campaign not only strengthened students’ religious and cultural knowledge but also encouraged them to follow the path of wisdom, discipline, and harmony.

Under the guidance of Dr. Kasun Bamunukula, Kingswood British College continues to promote holistic education that nurtures both academic excellence and moral values.
